Bouth

A small turnout of 7 including a visitor, a returnee and a new cummer.

We gathered in the pub carpark where Sir Tom Tom gave us a detailed brief on the trail, so detailed in-fact I saw a blind man running the trail without his stick. We left the car park promptly at 11:09 and proceeded down the causeway into Bouth Fall Stile, it was at this point that the wimps decided to walk the Rambo trail. Many cupcakes could have been baked with the wasted flour. The trail took us in a loop through Ashes Intake and around Old Hall Farm. On through Dockney Parrock, and to the top of the hill where we were treated to clear views of Blawith Fells towards Conistone. The skies soon changed and went dark, water from the sky was imminent. Fortunately a few minutes later we had tree cover when it arrived, it was a quick shower and we could smell the beer stop in the distance. East from High Longmire took us over the hill top to a gated road where we turned right back to the Pub. The main objective of the run was to try and find the pink sheep. I am not admitting to finding them but my white t shirt and wellies are now pink. A good trail with a mix of woodlands and open hills.

Toy Boy got a downer for being late and not catching up, he did manage to get to the pub first though.

I first met the new cummer “Pole Dancer” in India. She went to see a friend in India but her friend was ill. She was passed to others to keep her entertained, they happened to be hashers and she came on the “Monsoon Madness” weekend in Goa and laid the trails with me, having never hashed before. She soon learned how to drink copious amounts of beer and was named Pole Dancer, coz she is from Poland. She enjoyed todays run and could not make excuses as she lives in Grange-Over-Sands.
