This was our 5th visit. We also visited on...
Living to a ripe old age is a wonderful thing, especially when you consider the alternative. Unfortunately, one only has to look at a typical LVH3 Sunday turnout to realise that, while we all still have our own teeth and a full head of hair (with the exception of Baldbrick), most of us are rapidly losing our mental faculties (including Baldbrick). So, leaving it three weeks after a r*n before enabling scribing is probably not a good idea.
I can remember a few things vaguely, though. The very Australian accents of the hares suggested they were not from these parts. The fact that they owned a cottage right next to an English pub suggested that they had more sense than most Australians, and that we might not have to spend the morning drinking the swill that passes for beer in that part of the world (Fosters, Castlemaine XXXX and the like)
I also remember that it was very hot, and that we were back at the pub by 12.20, thus maximising the amount of time available for drinking real beer!
Other than that, and a vague recollection that it was a very enjoyable outing, my memory has succumbed to the ravages of senile dementia - perhaps you should just look at the pictures? Most of you struggle with reading in any case, particularly the long words I use.
Thanks a lot hares - hope to see you again soon!
