Langdon Beck - Langdon Beck YHA Weekend

The most amazing full moon illuminating the Tees valley floodlit our way through the fields - the added excitement of a silent check baffled the louder runners who were hushed loudly!  Whitenoise had the first shower of the weekend - standing too close to a deep puddle that proved to be too much of temptation for Rurtees.

Luckily the sheep couldn't see the odd assortment of runners this night.  Werewolf was the theme - we had a variety of blood spattered clothes, wigs and masks - some of which improved the wearer considerably.

Arriving at the pub an hour later (it was 10 minutes away remember) we were joined by Pick me up and the Baldbrick/Upperskirt clan.  Hopefully we didn't frighten the locals too much - but they had been warned! They were taken by Cyberseptic's fishnets and were heard to inquire "where do you keep your valuables then?" Down downs were awarded to hares, Off His Trolley for his improved look in multi coloured wig and extra eyebrows and those committing misdemeanours.  The on inn served good humour and good beer and stayed open for a good many hours - what more does a hash need.  Few have any recollection of the walk back to the hostel, was it cold?, was it dark ?  Did we walk alone or in company ?  Were we too drunk to know or care? Did we make any noise at all? Can you make a noise if there is no one to hear it?  A great night!!!
