Over Kellet - Burns Run

Well, what can I say - it was a unanimous decision that this was a perfect example of a hash r*n; in fact we decided that it should be r*n again - in the daytime so that we can appreciate its finer nuances and views!  Lets call this the dress rehearsal! - speaking of which it was wonderful to see everyone present wearing tartan - even Dickhead!  It is also worth noting that everyone arrived in time to set off punctually at 7pm - no slackers on this Burns Night!

We had a bit of pavement bashing - some wonderful craggy pathways - challenging us to tell the limestone from the flour.  The rambos amongst us - some 25% of the runners - were of course steaming ahead, and yet the course was laid so well that we all arrived back at the Eagle's Head together.  Copius amounts of shortbread and celebratory whisky were imbibed by all and then I should say three quarters of the runners retired to the pub.

We left in the nick of time to compete in the quiz at the Back Bull - and win wth a magnificent score of 33 - not bad for lunatics dressed in ginger wigs and tartan tam'o'shanters!!

Thanks Baldbrick and the mysterious invisble co-hare who rumour has it, has returned from Thailand.  I'll believe it when I see it!

Oh - and I nearly forgot - Happy birthday PMU!
