This was our 1st visit. We also visited on...
Bubbles collected those of us that hadn't read the directions properly and after singing Happy Birthday to Us round the beautifully decorated birthday cake we checked it out and found trail uphill. We paid tribute to our logo and ran round the Ashton Memorial once before heading out of the park.
The next place of interest (or not) we ran round was Lancaster Farms Young Offenders Unit followed by skirting the edges of Nightingale Farm (which does not smell as sweetly as a Nightingale sings!) Following the trail through the Ridge estate and with an impromptu gather near Comet we reached the on inn - The Bobbin. After a swift drink we ran back to The Gregson where we ordered food and drinks. We tried to check the r*ns list but as the type was very small and some of us are of "that age" and no magnifying glass was available not many r*ns were checked! The circle was relatively short, and after congratulating the hares with a short song the sinners were:
and I think that was everyone!
We got down to the non-business part of the evening and it all went very well - including the break to eat the food which was good - and after the GM put the new mismanagement in place including hash flash and a new songmaster, Bubbles led a discussion on markings for the coming year. Looking forward to the next year.
