This was our 1st visit. We also visited on...
Despite being on time and the usual suspects being late yours truly was dobbed in as scribe.
Dobbin is also how I felt at the start of this hash and hence why Rambo splits were avoided.
The route took us across parkland past a herd of still no eyed deers to the first split for the wimps, this was along good tracks through woods to an open check which had our simple brains befuddled until the Rambos arrived. Again a good track through undulating woods for about 15km bringing us to the disused railway line of Sandside.
Then after a further 15km there was much hilarity at the totally unexpected fish-hook. Then 7km along the beach to the beerstop where various hashers were rooted to the spot munching Easter eggs (they were eggstatic)
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition – and quite rightly so it turns out.
A further 15km through woods brought us to home with down downs for eggsactly the right reasons for various eggsamples of fine hashers.
On on to a pub for grub in true LVH3 tradition.
Overall an eggcellent day out and eggsactly what was needed.
Well done to the hares who also happen to be very good, architects, very good doctors and very good friends of mine!
