This run started on a lovely sunny day until I put my foot in it and asked who had arrived last as they would be scribe. Everyone looked at me, even White Noise (there's no loyalty these days!).

Still we set off across potato fields stopping every now and then to water them. Lurch and Morticia turned up 10 minutes late as usual for which they received Down Downs later.

At the first beer stop, one hare attempted to ingratiate himself by buying ice lollies.

We were spied on by helicopters but, by running a few steps, were able to convince them we were athletes, not terrorists trying to sabotage the potato crop. (Must remind hares not to use Chapati flour to mark trails in future.)

After the first beerstop (yes there were two), we encountered a fish hook at which FRB Lurch was heard to talk about racing Thunder Dick. Now I ask, is this true hashing spirit?

The second beer stop was cunningly concealed round a bend in the road.

At the Wimps/Rambo split, even unfit hashers claimed to be Rambos and trailed behind everyone causing role reversal for Cum Yak Yak when she had to phone to check on the whereabouts of No More Cum.

It was reported that 2 full moons were seen on the run but they escaped Down Downs.

Those who didn't included Cum Yak Yak for being a fashion statement, there may have been others but I cannot remember - I have slept since then!
