Scotforth

One wet and windy evening two hares and four hounds met at the Boot and Shoe at Scotforth. Feels on Wheels and Major Twit had braved the rain to set the trail and carefully led the hounds across the main road to start the run, ensuring all health and safety procedures were adhered to! The trail started with some pavement pounding and great street lighting. Lurch bounded ahead up a country lane and the rest of the hounds trotted in long pursuit through many a puddle.

The full moon shone dimly and somehow the hounds found the canal path where Lurch, Upperskirt, Masterbaker, Major Twit and Slack Haddock took the challenging rambo's route!

Sometime later after a lot of "on on" the canal was crossed and a hill was climbed for breath taking vistas of Lancaster and its night sky. During a treacherous negotiation of a down hill cobbled path Major Twit was led into the bushes by Lurch. And later we found Feels on Wheels flashing in the woods!

The pavements were pounded again before reaching the public house where the chips were rated highly.
