This was our 4th visit. We also visited on...
An idyllic pub and eatery that has undergone major renovation to restore and create a blend of traditional character and contemporary features, making this a relaxing and enjoyable space for all the family, including our canine friends.
Formerly the King's Arms.
Septics didn’t have anybody to get them to the start on time – so we were late and after our respected GM told us: ‘Since you two are last to arrive you can choose who scribes’, Thunderdick let me choose a stone in his hands and I got landed with this duty.
Bright, dry day, some sunshine, cool NE breeze and one hare deserted us straight away – some parental duty to go to and he didn’t want to face the wrath of Bedside Manner if he didn’t attend another christening – NO not Izzy again!
Dry underfoot, some amazing views, orchids, bluebells, deer, sheep, miserable old man who didn’t like Baldbrick shouting and blowing his horn on the sands – thought someone was in distress, which we were, it was a hash run!
Basically, we sort of ran around some footpaths, up and down some hills, through some woods, along the seashore, over some fields and ended where we started.
Things that happened on route included:
Dormouse, Speedbump, Bubbles, Bitter and Harry the dog were all goodytwoshoes as for the rest, downdowns were awarded to:
It were a grand day out and spiffing fun!
