This was our 1st visit. We also visited on...
It's not often that I go out for a run and feel like I'm back in school, but I did today. Sir Tom Tom was waiting in the car park wearing mortar board and gown , with his portable blackboard at the ready for induction to our 'A' level GCSE in Hashing.
Oh dear, it's the weekend, my brain is in relaxed mode. It is not receptive to lessons. After a half hour of instructions and heckling from this unruly class Sir let us go for our ' training run'. I was none the wiser.
However, it was a beautiful day, the sky was blue, the sun was shining. We reflected on life, the universe and our school days.
We ran all around Warton Crag but never over it. We had 2 beer stops, a fish hook and a Wimp/Rambo split.
In the circle Cabbage Knievel and Cabbage Flaps our visitors received big gold stars just for turning up.
Forever Blowing was praised for being an FRB.
Bubbles was ticked off for holding back at checks so that others had to check them out.
Cyberseptic was reprimanded for short-cutting.
My marks for Sir Tom Toms efforts are as follows:
In addition to the hard-running, hard drinking stalwarts listed above, Cabbage Knievel & Cabbage Flaps joined us for the second time this week! Hope you enjoyed it folks!
Thanks for a great run.
