The Boar’s Head Hash

The Boar’s Head in Barton we
Bedecked with hash and rosemary
And I pray you my hashers be merry
Quot estis in convivio

Chorus:
Caput apri defero
Redens laudes Domino

The Boar’s Head as I understand
Is the rarest pub in all the land
Which thus bedecked with a gay hash band
Let us servire cantico

Chorus

Our hares hath provided this
In honour of GM of bliss
Which on this day to be hashed is
In Reginensi atrio

Chorus

The frosty ground was a hidden bless
As M6 footbridge on we press
And sunshine did the hash impress
On agricola vista go

Chorus

Our visitors Brenda and Guy
Have hashed a little in Turkey
But handles have been given nay
So imminensi nominee

Chorus

The beer stop was presented here
And welcomed all with goodly cheer
But nappy hash we did not hear
Their via et longissimo (and dealing with Freddie’s massive poo delayed their on on)

Chorus

We thus did tread the onward trail
In rutted field and hansom vale
Till A6 reached and the smell of ale
On inn accelerandio

Chorus

Our circle was convened soon
With Frederick on his virgin r*n
And visitors their song was done
In jovia Lune Valley cum

Chorus

Thanks to Antiseptic and Septic Canary for nappy hashing Freddy (5 months) asleep in the push chair.
