Hornby

'Could the beautiful scenery and fabulous weather that we enjoyed yesterday be repeated?', I asked myself! Yes, it could! What a lovely, sunny, hashy weekend we've had! Fur Coat came out of the woodwork (that should maybe say 'wardrobe'!) and brought two virgins with her. Dover Soil (baptised in circle) also came accompanied by a newby; and Peter and Sue, having hashed elsewhere, were also welcome additions to our motley crew! The trail was a repeat, apparently (like I'd know!), but it was daylight and no one got lost (Naarnia wasn't there!) The beerstop was interrupted by a 'gentleman' wondering what we were doing and why, a little afraid that we may not have been behaving in the impeccable way that is our wont! Moving on on...

A well marked trail, using as always, flour and chalk that is no doubt all washed away by now; all paths adhered to, no crops trampled, no gates left open, no hard feelings (?).

There were 2 rambos, one of whom was Major Twit who allegedly wore out poor No More Cum with too much talking! Multi tasking, it was described as, something men appear to struggle with! Girl power (strong arm gesture, supporting bingo wings!!).

Another good one from our Sir Tom Tom, followed by lunch in the sun at the Royal Oak - lovely.

On on to 9th June...
