This was our 6th visit. We also visited on...
Firstly, apologies for the delay. This was caused by internet problems followed by family problems, followed by a holiday to get over the problems. Finally, a kick up the bum by Turkish Delight and a final reminder by the GM shamed me into action.
The motley crew all met up at the New Inn, Yealand and compared torches in preparation for a moonless moonlight run. Once I had availed myself of the very convenient portable workmens' convenience located in the car park, the Hare, Sir Tom Tom, directed Rambos to the left and Wimps to the right (or it could have been the other way round - my memory's not what it used to be - and it WAS last year). The light was swiftly disappearing when we entered the woods and then it was time for the torches to be lit. Before too long the beer pub stop, The George Washington in Warton, was reached and invaded by several Wimps. One of our number who shall remain nameless to save embarrassment (White Noise) confused the scores in the Scotland vs New Zealand rugby match showing on the telly with the match play time and said something along these lines "Look Scotland's winning75-14". By the time the Rambos arrived we had downed our pints and were setting off on the second leg.
It started to rain on the return journey but it was nothing to write home about, a light drizzle. We circled up in the On Inn car park and then realised that Highway still hadn't returned. As it was raining we all headed for the pub and Highway turned up soon after.
Once we had satisfied our basic needs - strong drink and food, it was time for the AGPU. The following details are a little sketchy as I didn't know at that time that I had volunteered? to do the Hash Trash.

Looking forward to hashing with LVH3 soon, before returning to FH3 after Easter.
