Brookhouse

Well it was reyt grond to be assembling again at LVH3's "epicentre", the Black Bull at Brookhouse, though there was some confusion about the actual on on, after the hare disappeared up the back passage to the church hall car park, obviously not keen to be associated with the riff raff.  Still, we circled up in the end and welcomed our two virgins Karen and Constance before ononning up the hill in the Caton Green direction.  The evening was crisp and clear as we took in the mesmeric views of the Bowland fells from the environs of Annas Gill, then Moorside and Reservoir Lane.

Loose Elastic seemed to be hanging back a bit, not at her usual pace, so I challenged her on that point and it turns out she was anticipating the first of the forewarned fish hooks to avoid having to r*n back.  A sure down-downable offence if we had bothered to circle up at the on inn.

The r-w split at the Winder Road beer stop saw only three rambos depart for upper Littledale, while the rest of us slow b****rds toddled on down for home, drinking in the glorious Spring air.

It was all haste to the pub and no circle, in the nick of time to place our orders for food, so I must ask our virgins to pardon us for not welcoming them with the usual ceremony: I hope you thought it was long and hard enough and that you will readily come again.

A magnificent evening r*n in top hashing country and good food and service at the Bull.  Well done Upperskirt.
