This was our 1st visit. We also visited on...
The fates were certainly trying to spoil our evening; the road to Low Bentham was closed, one torch was left in the car, another's battery died, we were nearly an hour late for our dinner, the flour was, shall we say, severely lacking, and there was a scary hash crash.
BUT! What a fantastic evening it really was! It was wonderful to welcome back the long lost Wobbly Hooker, the full moon was spectacular, we got to visit no less than 3 villages on a full moon run, the r*n was a great practice for a future Sunday outing AND the Sundial pub was fabulous, home cooked lasagnes all round, Moorhouses beer, excellent wine apparently, garlic bread for pudding, Alex the landlady was extremely welcoming and we will definitely be back!
Still thinking of a name for Virgin Julie though ..........
Thanks Hares!!
