Brigsteer - Hash a Full Moon Good Solstice

So Forever Blowing says "Baldbrick's done a good write up". Sharp as a razor I realise that this means "Bubbles.... Have you done your write up yet?" So I respond that as there's only tennis and football on tonight I may as well do mine now. Not understanding sarcasm, FB hands me a pen.

How I ever managed to con Slackbladder into setting a Monday run on the longest day of the year, with a Strawberry moon and with an England match on can easily be understood by anyone who knows SB's love of beer and appalling memory.

Setting off from the forest carpark with several returnees joining the pack we found our way diligently but slowly through the village of Brigsteer; Feels On Wheels On Crutches and Turkish Delight and The Gobbler apparently on tranquillisers.

I knew we were 'r*nning, late when Slackbladder came alongside me and advised me (one of our best athletes) not to bother with the Rambo split.

The route took us to the South west end of Scout Scar and along the west edge until we descended into a field with beasts in it.. "Mum, come on" I heard Jelly Tot enticing Loose Elastic to help her overcome her fear of those grass eating milking machines "It's ok little one, I know a short cut back to th start......via Keswick" and off they went (perhaps she is lactose intolerant?)

Back at the on inn in time for England to tease us into thinking .....what were we thinking?........why were we thinking?.......such fools!

Come on Wales!

Cheers Slackbladder - great run, not that you will remember setting it! (but at least you remembered to pay for your meal!)
