This was our 2nd visit. We also visited on...
20 hashers for a full moon hash on the hottest day of the year was pretty impressive. Credit has to go to Bitter and Twisted for setting the trail in afternoon temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. The Stepping Stones Onn Inn was aptly named at one time, though now replaced by a fine footbridge. We were joined by Morticia somewhat later, she having been delayed in the conurbation of Scorton while trying to find the elusive Stepping Stones.
Our hares had advised us that our food might not be available after 8.15pm, so only serious rambos should attempt the rambo loop. Impressively, no less than 6 rambos took the chance and joined us wimps at the canal side beer stop.
A fine hash on a lovely evening, with refreshment taking precedence over circle.
The On Inn stepped up to the mark, with Hopping Hare beer proving a popular thirst-quencher and our food being served after 8.30 with no complaint.
Your scribe enjoyed a fine evening cycle ride home.
