This was our 7th visit. We also visited on...
A Robinsons house serving Hartleys XB, Cumbria Way, Robinsons Unicorn & Dizzy Blonde.
Baldbrick promised a bimble ("an aimless wander", according to a definition I found) and a bimble is what we got! Our hare, in full Santa costume, was well primed by the time of our arrival at 6pm and had no doubt been offering his services to the Kirbky Lonsdale hostelries.
From the W/R split at the start we wimps were baffled by flour on 2 sides of the road and were saved from running an endless circle by the smart intervention of our rambos, whose keen noses soon picked up the true scent.
A gentle jog (aka bimble) on familiar territory led us to the pub beer stop, drinks on the (hash) house - thank you!
Ready to continue the second half of the hash, we reached the ON INN not twenty paces from said beer stop. Fine food was had and Baldbrick thanked for a memorable pre-Christmas full moon bimble, albeit only a half one!
