Lowgill - Mothers' Day hash

We were LATE because of Slackbladder (Dad) – typical! So we started 10 minutes after everyone else. However we (as in myself, Clumsy Sod and our friend Josh) following the sound of the Hash Horn (Baldbrick) who my dad says used to play in the horn section of The London Philharmonic, managed to catch up within 5 minutes. Mum (Come bye), her friend Kerry and her son Ollie (5 years) were about one mile behind everyone else. Also typical.

The Hash went through fields and moorland, and I have never turned up to a Beer Stop so muddy. However I got my reward with a can of coke, a capri sun and a ton of biscuits. I thenwent on the Rambo’s route, which was a good fast run, just beating Come bye, Kerry and Ollie who had run the Wimps route. PS I don’t want a down down for sort of saying I was racing.

The circle was entertaining. The GM called everyone to order and gave a Down Down to the hares before handing over to the RA. Forever Blowing was brought to order for trying to arrange a Mother’s day meal rather than going on the hash and for attempting to silence the RA in the presence of religious people, even though my dad says there are none so religious as a Hash RA!Slackbladder’s lateness was broughtto the attention of the circle, in addition to Comebye’s hash haberdashnon compliance.

Kerry was down downed for being a hash virgin and having posh fingers. Scouse Count for something random that I can’t remember and several of us were punished for fouling the trail. Wobbly Hooker for spotting a hare and mentioning it! They sang the hare song that I don’t know the words of for that one.

Sorry if I’ve forgotten any, I think there may’ve been one for Upperskirt for fouling under the security camera.

On Inn was George and Dragon at Wray where the food was good and I’m told the beer was excellent.

Twisted Beer is truly 'orrible stuff and should not be drunk for pleasure - only punishment!
