Grizedale Bridge

I know that Hashing is confusing - but pity our poor three virgins today - we arrive in a freezing wind to be told by our hares, Pick Me Up & Hashdrunk, that there are 2 Rambo/Wimp splits - we found one, and the second one wasn't marked!- and that there is one part where we ought to go up, because of scenic scenery, but then we had to come back down - and yet the trail went off in the other direction (apparently this was the missing split!). They also said it wasn't exposed - but that was before they saw Morticia's shorts.

Then half way through the events we are joined by the Septics and Greta who carry on straight past us because they are going to get some chickens - EH? - we never saw them again! Then we lost a hasher who was fascinated by the afore mentioned trail leading the wrong way - he eventually returned during the circle - prompting calls for Fugitive Nipple to be changed to inverted.

It was also the inaugural run for the GM's own knitting circle as he wandered along discussing Far East hashing with our visitor, Highway, from Friends of the Mole H3 via Penang and KL.

I must say though that it was a run of perfect proportions, if trifle confusing markings - thanks Hares!! Will our virgins return? - and does HRH approve of Hash being used for DofE?!! Our long term absent RA was replaced by Morticia who kept it brief - must have been something to do with her shorts!

The Fleece was tempting, though jammed solid and as we wended our way homeward we were illuminated by a perfect Full Moon in a clear but frosty sky.
