High Bentham - STT's ante diem septimum idus Augustas R*n

Another Full Moon - another Sir Tom Tom Hash.

Where is the moon?

We saw only bright sun! What is sun? you may well ask.

Finding the Black Bull in High Bentham after searching for a pub I last saw in Low Bentham was the first hazard, but we had all day to do it as had Sir Tom Tom our oft repeated hare.

And arriving early, there was plenty of time for a start circle with Layby featured although she still did not run.

Confusion continued wen we started hashing across a green field I last saw in Low Bentham. Have they moved the fields too you may ask.

Up and down and around the fields and lanes left us back in what looked like High Bentham. It could not be so soon, in spite of all the flour. Maybe we had strayed off SIr Tom Tom's route (or maybe following old flour from last time he set this route?

Passing a carbon copy of the Black Bull showed us the hare checking whether we were lost and saying the route is a figure eight. All is now clear, including the bright midnight sun for a moonlight hash.

After another mile, we were invited to catch a train back to High Bentham but no train came so we had to keep on running.

Somewhere there was a split, but I saw no split, simply Sir Tom Tom leading me back to the real Black Bull in case I entered the carbon copy by mistake.

The food was good the weather was good the only thing we never saw was the full moon.

ON ON to the next.
