R*n 641: Caton Moor

I arrived late - hence me being scribe. Memory isn't what it used to be! Anyhow a good gathering of hounds were in the driveway of Twit and Tw*t. After an informative introduction to the r*n from Twit who told us it could be short or long, hilly or flat, wet or dry etc we set off to check it out. Last times marks were found and so some hounds had to be called back and set on the correct trail. We went up and up and up and more up until we couldn't go up anymore and then we did a bit more up. After that we went down and down and down and more down until we couldn't go down anymore. The up and down on the rambos was 7 miles and the up and down on the wimps was 5 miles - turn the numbers round and you have Twit's age! Happy birthday Twit!

When we were up, we were up and the views were stunning across Morecambe Bay and up the Lune Valley. When we were only half way (up) down we had beer. When we were down, we were down and had great food, company and fireworks.
