Brock Valley - Not the Boxing Day hash

OK, so 8 weeks is quite a long time to write up a hash report, I accept that, and I understand Bitter is on the warpath (scary).

There are however some mitigating circumstances i'd like to offer in my defence. Firstly, the r*n being held on Christmas Eve, which is quite a busy day for a father of 3 young uns', not to mention the following few days. Secondly, the depth of shiggy down by the riverside with one young un on my shoulders for a few miles made recovery slightly longer. Thirdly, and most importantly, the busy christmas period plus the depth of shiggy down by the riverside meant that by the 28th I had full Australian Flu and couldn't lift an arm for weeks and was, along with the rest of the country, having wild hallucinations - mine were about a bunch of mad elves running in deep wet mud by a riverside somewhere.

So, after all these mitigating factors, I hope you will forgive me for the delay. Sadly though I can't remember much more about it due to my severe illness and so have had to call in some witnesses:

Smartie:

'It was quite long and it was very good and i enjoyed it, especially going over a high bridge over the railway. I also liked everyone bringing their hats and christmas jumpers and the winners hat was homemade and much better than the rest'

Jelly Tot:

'It was quite long and I think it was a very good one for people that like running a lot. I also think that it was very flat, wait no not that it was very flat, it was more a bit flat and bumpy but a very good route. The biscuits were very nice and lots of people fell over - I fell over twice and hurt myself on barbed wire and a tree root. Baldbrick wore a quite silly elf suit.

Midget Gem:

'Errrrm. I liked going at the side of the path where the cars were and I really liked the bridge. That's all'.

Twisted It was I (Twisted) that was on the “warpath” not Bitter so you will probably have been really really scared had you known it was me! Will forgive you of course as wouldn’t want your children giving me bad looks when we see you again ( and you do set great runs). 😘
