A hash of many stiles!
At the end of the merry month of May
As the earth span rapidly towards June
An ale-swilling band of flour-stalkers
Were treated to another hashy full moon
One Harriette couldn't get a single check right
Whether letfting or righting or straight ahead sighting
She simply fluffed it up - all night
Sir Tom Toms checks werent too bad
He surprised us all as temporary front-running-b@$t*D
But his joy didn't last we are told
When he learned the last pie had been sold
The route was beautifully laid out
With scenery galore to admire
Fish hooks without fish
Checks without mates
And farms, fields, nettles, and plenty stiles and gates
Twas a beautiful evening alright
With sun in the sky
And plenty daylight
It was also midgie and mud-free
Which particularly delighted the old curmudgeon me!
With 6 different Frbs,
it was less of a Hash -
and more of a race
Yet the moon was a late-cumming Hasher
We'd all left the pub when he finally showed his Face!
.....thank God he finally showed up......
He's always furkn bitchin'
Let's drink our beer
Get outta here
And get back in the kitchen
