Caton

A good run out around Caton and Brookhouse.

Front runners Lurch and Forever Blowing kindly did the hard work checking out all of the false trails. Two fishing stops kept everyone together well although SCBs Baldbrick and Minor Twat didn't manage it as far as the second one. After a wonderful run through familiar pastureland - unusually dry under foot - and including the Big Dipper, the route back to the On Inn was via Broadacre, the Crook of Lune and a fast run in along the cycle path. Bubbles easily cruising home ahead of an 'overtired' Lurch and Forever Blowing (not that I was racing).

The run length was between 4-6 miles, depending on how daft you were.

FB did a Full Moon/ Half Moon demonstration with Jaffa cakes and Belle enjoyed stamping her feet to make her wellies light up.

A great Full Moon run, thank you Hare UpperSkirt, a full bucket with plenty of beer, biscuits and a conviviality followed by the circle where DDs were handed down for misdemeanours such as being too polite, wearing hats, not wearing hash gear and generally being a bunch of toss pots.

On Inn at the Station included Pizza, gammon, sausages, both skinny and fat chips, good service and good beer.We were joined by Off His Trolley and WhiteNoise who managed service and Front of House. (You had to be there...why weren't you?)

For those attending this weekend we can promise you cold, clear skies, warm welcoming pubs and great company - the runs will be boggin. (No G).
