This was our 5th visit. We also visited on...
This was another visit to Sir Tom Tom's stomping ground, so we were reassurringly in safe hands. Everything would run smoothly. STT's first role was as an efficient parking attendant at the Wheatsheaf, where orderly positioning of vehicles was in order. The customary uphill 1/2 mile or so served to warm us up on a fine but cloudy February evening (no sight of moon, which had been wonderfully clear two days previously!).
At our first problematic route finding (or losing) who should appear in the nick of time bur STT himself, to reset us on the trail. Highway had meanwhile given up on the initial uphill and found sanctuay in the Wheatsheaf!
After some country capers we were soon back within the warm embrace of Ingleton village and via its byways to the pub. Fine food was served promptly to hungry hashers, though Bone Idle remained a spectator to the feast.
