Cotside Manner was interviewed about her memories of r*n 748…..
There was some snow, and some sun.
At the start we met a few Rambos waiting for Bubbles. Large Package had already had a hash-crash before the r*n had even started! BM commented that we’d brought TD’s car, which didn’t have the medical kit in. LP insisted that it was ‘merely a flesh wound’ and that he’d be okay.
The track that we started on, went up a bit; and then there was a massive downhill. At the crossroads a yellow Morgan car came past us with a dog in the back. It looked really cool.
A group of Rambos including Lurch and Large Package then passed us, and we followed them for a bit from a distance. They showed us the way, until they got lost.
A sheep followed us for bit. TD told it to ‘go away and bog off’, which it promptly did.
We passed some noisy hashers (STT and BB) with a horn near a nice house. We heard them a long time before we saw them.
There was a nice bit by a stream and then we went up, and up and up and up and up again.
We saw the Rambos again from a distance looking even more lost. We found some flour but we didn’t find a Highland Cow or a Trig Point.
After that it was downhill most of the way!
On the way home in the car we passed Lurch who was r*nning because he didn’t think the r*n was long enough. Or was he still lost?”
TD, BM & CM all say thank-you to the hare for a really scenic r*n.
