Rain, R*nning, Ringing, Recovery
Late afternoon found me leaning back against our garden wall enjoying the sun and looking forward to a dry r*n as rain had been forecast for late evening. Fast forward an hour or so and as soon as I sat down to a light tea, the heavens opened.
Undeterred, Twit & I donned our haberdash and awaited the prompt arrival of our chauffeur, Wears the Soap. Despite the weather, a goodly number turned up including three virgins - Jo, Patrick and Rob. Lands End was there for her first outing with LVH3 having recently moved to BROOKHOUSE!
We circled, newcomers introduced, hare on in and we were off. Through the cemetery, past the Farms to the wimps/rambos split. Rambos over the motorway and on to Denny Beck, along the river, up to the aqueduct and on to the canal. Wimps had gone left, past Central High and then were stumped. Fortunately we had First Class Stomp with us who made a discrete call to the hare and we were back on trail. On through the woods surrounding Newton Beck where we eventually came out on the canal.
It was soon after the wimps and rambos met that the ringing started. It was Cyberseptic calling Morticia for assistance as Antiseptic had fallen with a suspected broken wrist. We all followed the trail and got back to Williamson Park where we dispensed with a circle and I believe some went to assist Cyber & Anti.
Cyber must have gone through his entire contacts list trying for assistance from everyone there on the night as Twit & I had a missed call from him as I'm sure others did.
Sorry Cyber - you'll probably get a DD for using your phone on trail and Anti a DD for hash crash!
That aside, we all wish Anti a speedy recovery.
Well done hares. A great trail on never before used ground.
