Jubilee Tower

What a good Hash today, thanks to the Hares Major Twit and Minor Twat. Sunshine and extensive views (Blackpool Tower, Morecambe Bay, Heysham Power Stations, Forest of Bowland fells, etc).

The Hares did well organising the assault course, comprising broken and slippy styles, treacherous bridges, bogs, deep puddles, barbed wire and streams to ford. There was an incident - Sir Tom Tom slipped off a bridge into a raging torrent below (well, small steam) resulting in a courageous rescue by at least 3 hashers.

The beer stop was a welcome break but almost resulted in fisticuffs! Minor Twat tried to kindly give away a pair of hash over trousers. Someone, who shall remain nameless for his own safety, said Upperskirt was too wide for them!!

Saw the usual array of animals including a deceased hare (no, not a LVH3 hare – a real one, but dead, no more, not resting!). Belle was particularly interested and identified all the bones and wanted to take it for her school project. Fortunately, Molly, the cocker spaniel didn’t see the dead hare, as she was already eating and rolling in shiggy, as she did all the way round.

Hero of the day was Willy Wonky, who found Major Twit’s glasses that she lost whilst laying the trail. This resulted in a renaming ceremony for Willy Wonky – Spec Saver aka Vision Express. Major Twit showed her delight by a highland fling type dance with all hashers.

Were there any complaints today? Yes, wet feet and an up-hill finish. And only two people had the energy to climb to the top of Jubilee Tower – well done Belle and Rockafella.

On Inn for Antispetic and Cyberseptic was a swim in the River Lune. For others On Inn was The Plough at Galgate.

Thanks again to the Hares Major Twit and Minor Twat, and all the hashers that came along.
