This was our 7th visit. We also visited on...
Another great day in the Hash Office! π
What an amazing turnout for hash #770 in the Brown Horse car park at Winster. After a lot of repositioning cars and a few (mis)directions from the Hares, we set off...up that bloomin big hill to the left with Lurch leading the way. We were quickly onto a R/W split and carried on climbing till we dropped back down to the wimps a fair while later with Speedbump asking them to make way for the athletes (think that was what she called us)! π Crossing the stone slab bridge, we crossed fields and entered open countryside with amazing views to the fells. There was much banter between all the gasping and panting (that was just me) and think we all drunk in the bright sunshine and amazing autumn colours feeling blessed to live in the area. π I noticed there was much shouting going on from Major Twit and assumed she had been eating those blue smarties again but apparently it was being free from a computer screen that made her so happy! π
Onto the Beer Stop at a lovely mill pond and despite there being no peanut cookies, the fig rolls made a satisfactory alternative. It was suggested at the circle that Baldbrick should get his act into gear and buy in bulk next time they were available at B&M!
The final part of the route saw us climbing, climbing climbing alongside Bow Mabble Breast with Thunderdick clearly demonstrating his fitness at the front, only to drop to a f,f,f, fish-hook and return to the climbing again. π«Never has the knitting circle been so far back as today and in the words of Gary Glitter (don't ask)! - Come On, Come On..was sung to encourage them to get a move on!
Finally we dropped back into the car park and eventually formed The Squircle. There were far too many down downs to mention although the most serious misdemeanor being that of the deputy RA wearing a hat in the squircle...closely followed by Baldbrick for lack of peanut biscuits! π See hash photos for the other DDs and make up your own charges!
All in all. a flipping fabulous day with great weather, views and company! Thanks Hares! ππ€π£
