The weather forecast was threatening rain, so I was not surprised to arrive and find a small gaggle of local hashers. Fortunately, our numbers were boosted by three visitors; Garth Vader, Ice Delight and Vibrator. We milled about at the start until Upperskirt set off for the former railway line, no doubt benefiting from some inside knowledge. As the pack headed west on the former railway line, I was overtaken by a cyclist who promptly hit a dog that ran out in front of him. The owner of the dog shouted, "what are you doing?" I am not sure if that was addressed to the dog, the cyclist or me. But it is not unusual for civilians to wonder what hashers are doing. The hare, Baldbrick, added a circular loop by the Crook of the Lune for the rambos. Not sure whether I was crooking or looping I did not find the whole of the rambos trail, unlike Large Package and Big Dibber.

The trail followed the Lune riverbank for a good while, and Forever Blowing joined the pack after running the trail backwards. A little beer was consumed at a Beer Stop by the A683, before the wimps and rambos split by the Black Bull. The rambos did another circular loop back to the Black Bull to face the same rambo/wimp split again. Luckily I remembered I had been there before.

Down, downs for me for shortcutting and Antiseptic for a misdemeanour that I do not recall.

The On Inn, the Station Hotel seemed much better than I remembered. The food was better and the atmosphere seemed busier.
