R*n 842: Gressingham

Knowing that parking space would be limited, I relived my youth, looking cool on my scooter and parking between two cars whilst Twit went on an unpowered two wheeled device. After shifting a couple of vehicles around we all squeezed in the available spaces.

I was slightly concerned that we'd be paddling through flooded fields following the recent rain and was unsure what we'd find.

The main points from the hare's breifing were that there was a split before the beer stop and one after.

Off we went quickly forming two distinct groups. The hare kindly diverted the trail away from the footpath by the Lune to instead, take us down Sandbeds Lane where we joined the riverside footpath further on. We veered off to go through the Snab and on to Eskrigge where there was a wimps/rambo split, both ending up at the beer stop at a friendly house in Gressingham.

There followed an immediate split resulting in the wimps walking back down the road to the Loyn Bridge.

It was good to see the recently married No More Cum and I expect that, due to his lengthy honeymoon, he now lives up to his name.

• Speedbump - hash crash
• Big Fish - biscuit thief
• No More Cum & Garth Vader - dawdling

Hash concluded, I donned my shades, put on my parka and rode home like an extra from Quadrophenia (which No More Cum actually was)
