Barton - National Superhero Day

Was she distracted by uni work and the impending doom of finishing her degree or was she actually just finishing crocheting a blanket ready for the sunny weather? Even the disappointed stare of First Class Stomp could not persuade her to put pen to paper in a timely manner. But fear not plucky reader, she hath prevailed and shall now pull memories from the depth of her assignment riddled brain!

It was a fine day in Barton (aka Beirut) to relearn how to find trail markings (more on those later). The day started out as all of mine do with a bit of paparazzi action and after passing through what very much just felt like somebodies garden the brave rambos split off from the wimps even after having been persuaded we would not be fast enough! There spent a blissful hour or so of relative peace lead by Lord T until hark! what is that in the distance? The sound of wimps nearby brought hope into our hearts that the beer stop was nearby! However, it seemed to be a while until we found them, their voices must carry well...

After getting to the beer stop well ahead of the wimps (thank you very much) and partaking in a very mature beverage of a fruit shoot it was time to face the dreaded Battleground of Beirut! Such fear was instilled into our hearts from Big Dibber about the treacherous route to come. What would become of our band of merry superheroes?

Well they made it back without any confusion and delay...sorry. Anyway down downs for the birthday girl, septics and baldbrick (don't ask me for what I can't remember) and apparently two silly people who ran past some flour (whoever that could be).

Shout out to LP for always adhering to the theme and when asked if I was embarrassed to be seen with him, I replied "I'm used to it" :P.
