Wow, wonderful wellie-walking wet weekend, what with What3Words wandering wherever, we were wondering, whatever, weird!
A great hash with groups setting off at different times depending on when they arrived at the OnOn. Wet underfoot including wading through rivers, slippy leaves and roots, grabby brambles, no rain, a supporting hare and beautiful waterfalls were all on the trail which meandered through the Grizedale Forest until I had no idea where I was. Eventually found a beer stop on a track with another hare in attendance but NO BISCUITS - shame on the hares!
We all arrived back at the OnInn together excepting the Uber Wimps who uber, uber wimped early to the pub. We had a quick circle where we praised the hares and acknowledged the 'splashers' and 'crashers' before reuniting with the uber wimps at The Anglers Arms for refreshment.
