As I had a free trial of Chatbox on the go at the time of the hash I thought I would save time and effort by getting it to write the report. Apologies to Just Craig , who by being described as a front running bastard has been portrayed as the villain of the piece!

Thanks to WTS and STT for a lovely route. Shame about the inclement weather!

I also asked it to do various reports ‘ in the style of’ . I think my favourite was the Shakespearean version!

Summary:

Despite the challenging weather conditions and treacherous terrain, the hash run proved to be an exhilarating adventure for all participants. Belle, known for her fearless nature, faced an unexpected encounter with a group of cows during the trail. Undeterred, she fearlessly stood her ground, proving her mettle in the face of bovine adversaries.

However, the hash was not without its fair share of challenges. Craig, notorious for his front-running tactics, attempted to gain an unfair advantage by sprinting ahead of the pack. His efforts were met with mixed reactions from the other hashers, who were determined to catch up and keep the spirit of the hash intact.

The persistent rain added an extra layer of difficulty to the already slippery slopes, making the trail even more treacherous. The view, unfortunately, remained obscured by the thick clouds, depriving the hashers of the scenic beauty they had hoped to enjoy.

To add to the excitement, a giant worm was spotted along the trail, surprising and amusing the hashers. The fluorescent orange t-shirts worn by the participants added a vibrant touch to the otherwise gloomy weather.

The trail catered to both Rambos and Wimps, with eminently runnable slopes for the more adventurous Rambos and delayed wimps who preferred a less challenging route. The steep slopes tested the endurance and determination of all participants, pushing them to their limits.

Despite the challenges faced, the hashers embraced the spirit of camaraderie and adventure, making the most of the hash run. Laughter, banter, and a sense of accomplishment filled the air as the hashers crossed the finish line, proud of their achievements.

In conclusion, the hash run was a memorable experience, filled with unexpected encounters, challenging terrain, and unpredictable weather. Belle's bravery, Craig's front-running antics, and the various obstacles encountered along the way added an extra layer of excitement to the event. The hashers, undeterred by rain and steep slopes, proved their resilience and determination, making the hash run a resounding success.

A Hash Report: Belle's Encounter with Cows, Craig's Front Running, Rain, and the Trials of the Trail ( Shakespearean version!)

Act I:

Upon a morn, amidst the realm of hashing,

Fair Belle, with noble heart and steadfast stride,

Did chance upon a most peculiar sight.

A congregation of bovine creatures,

Stood in her path, a daunting obstacle.

Yet, undeterred, our valiant Belle did stand,

With courage bold, she faced the cows head-on.

Oh, the gallantry of our dear Belle!

Act II:

Meanwhile, amidst the bustling hash run,

A cunning fellow, known as Craig the Bastard,

Did scheme and plot, with mischief in his heart.

He sprinted forth, a front runner in his quest,

To gain unfair advantage o'er his peers.

But wily hashers, wise to his deceit,

United in their pursuit, to thwart his lead.

For honor and integrity must prevail,

In this noble game of hashing's grand tale.

Act III:

The heavens wept, as rain poured from above,

Drenching hashers, as they trod the sodden trail.

The clouds, like curtains, veiled the scenic view,

Yet, undaunted, they pressed on, undeterred.

For rain may dampen clothes, but not their spirits,

Which burned with fervor, brighter than the sun.

Through treacherous terrain, they forged their way,

Slippery slopes and steep inclines, their foes.

But with each step, their mettle was revealed,

Their fortitude, a testament to their will.

Act IV:

Amidst the hashers' journey, a surprise!

A giant worm, of monstrous size, appeared.

Its wriggling form, a spectacle to behold,

Elicited laughter and wonder from all.

And lo, the hashers, clad in orange attire,

A vibrant sight amidst the dreary day.

Their spirits lifted, as they pressed ahead,

United in their quest, come what may.

Act V:

The trail, a tapestry of choice and challenge,

Catered to the diverse inclinations of all.

Rambos, with audacious hearts, sought glory,

Scaling eminently runnable slopes with grace.

While wiser souls, the Wimps, chose a path,

Less arduous, delayed, but no less grand.

Oh, the beauty of choice, in hashing's realm,

Where each may find their own adventure's helm.

Epilogue:

Through rain and steep slopes, the hashers strove,

Their spirits unyielding, their hearts aflame.

In camaraderie, they found strength and joy,

As they crossed the finish line, triumphant.

Proud of their achievements, memories forged,

They stood as heroes, in hashing's grand tale.

For in this noble pursuit, they proved true,

That rain, cows, and cunning cannot deter,

The spirit of hashing, forever enduring,

In the hearts of those who dare to venture.
