Garstang - Another Boxing Day Hash hosted by B&T 😊

It was a beautiful Boxing Day when around 15 eager hashers gathered at the Tithebarn to r*n off the excesses of Christmas.  All started well with the Rambo’s off to a flying start leaving the rest of us to enjoy the canal and gaze in wonder at the huge Wind Turbine.  Soon after, Hare Twisted received a call from Plucker, who, along with the rest of the
Rambo's, we’re inexplicably back at the Tithebarn after 30 minutes into the r*n.   After a
lengthy chat and directions we all gathered at the beer stop, the Rambos having done the first leg twice! Inevitably accusations of poor directions and lack of ability to read simple arrows abounded and each side hoping to prove the other wrong.  Peace descended and eventually we all met at the point where it all went wrong.  It appears that sabotage was afoot as the original arrow had been ‘rubbed out’ to make it appear that it was pointing in the wrong direction😱.  Back at the Tithebarn the accusations flew with HA having to do a down down for blatant tampering of the evidence.  However his partners in crime …. managed to escape their fate but Plucker along with myself deserved a down down for complete lack of effort with the Christmas Hat!  HA and RA won this coveted award with a Bonio for HA to chew on on the way home.  All other hats were superb and I’m sure they would all have loved to win a Bonio dog biscuit.  Finally (thank goodness you’re all thinking) following a lovely meal well served by the staff of Tithe, the naming of FOTH daughter began which created a debate not seen since Brexit but finally it was decided she be named Hey Fiddle Diddle. All in all a fabulous day,  very well signed by the hares despite efforts from a desperate few to sabotage the course!  Thank you Bitter and Twisted for a cracking day.
