This was our 6th visit. We also visited on...
Wolf Moon. It's thought wolves howled more at this time of the year as there was less food in the middle of winter. That could explain why some hounds were caught on the Co-op CCTV buying food mid-hash! (Hypo in progress). This could also explain the reason they missed the final W/R split. They were on the wrong side of the road and saw some flour which led them straight back to the On Inn a good 15 minutes before the other Rambos.
Anyway, no full moon in sight. You would've thought we were all tired and worn out after yesterday's hash ice and snowball shenanigans but we were all raring to go!
From the start we crossed the road and split straight away. Clowns to the left, Jokers to the right and stuck in the middle of the lane the Hares, who made a quick 180 turn and went home to make two delicious soups with home made croutons and home made bread, and equally tasty home made cheese tartlets (so I am told). Judging by the empty dishes and plates, thoroughly enjoyed by all. A big thank you again Hares for the hash and hospitality.
Down Downs:
PS congratulations to the founding father & mother who are now becoming founding grandparents.
