This was our 1st visit to this On Inn.

A fine morning saw a stunning turnout at Docker Park Farm. Maybe the turnout was due to people thinking we were having a tour of the farm. They were to be disappointed - we were having a tour of the Lune Valley!
Off we went over fields, hills and stiles. Through many gates and onward to Arkholme. As we arrived we saw Off His Trolley sitting waiting for us at the main crossroads. Of course we assumed this would be the beer stop. Not a chance! We were herded on down past the church and along the riverside.
It wasn't until we got to near Newton that an eagerly awaited beer was quaffed (no biscuits though - hint, hint).
At Outfield Farm, many missed the Rambo's split and wimped it back to Docker. As we were nearing the railway crossing, White Noise was performing miraculous voice projection techniques (shouting!) to point us toward Off His Trolley who was standing in as a Part Time Crossing Assistant (minus his Lollipop) to safely guide us over the railway.
Back at Docker Park Farm, we appreciated the varied display of animals and once everyone had arrived back, had the circle.
As this is being written weeks after the event, I haven't a clue who got D2's for what. Who cares? It was a great r*n. Sorry I couldn't stay for food.
