This was our 1st visit. We also visited on...
We all gathered at Devil's Bridge, Kirkby Lonsdale on a fine and sunny morning, ready to enjoy the trail laid by Chapped Lips and Late Cummer, and so we did!
The trail went uphill, more uphill and then some more uphill with the checks being found by the FRB's really quickly s there was no time to gather breath, just had to keep on going and going and going some more. Eventually the FRB's were stopped by a f******hook and that gave the pack a chance to regather. The weather was great, the company was great and the trail, so far, was great.
Maybe, just maybe there would be a Beer Stop soon, but then we realised we hadn't come across a Wimps/Rambos split yet so we knew it would be a while before we could refresh our parched throats! Luckily the split occurred soon after and a bit furter along the trail the pack all converged happily at the BS.
We set off on the second half of the trail a after another Wimps/Rambos split we backtracked over the out trail which had become the in trail back to KL.
There was a circle, there were down downs and a naming - Welcome 'Curly Longtail'
Thanks for a great trail Chapped Lips and Late Cummer x
