As Large Package should have hared this run but had to cancel at the last minute because he was unwell, 5 of us who had nothing better to do decided that we would organise our own walk to the Red Door Cafe in Halton along one side of the River Lune and then back down the other side to The Station in Caton for lunch.

Despite the lack of flour we found our way without mishap and I for one was delighted to find that the cafe was licensed so we could even have a beer stop!

No down downs were given before we adjourned to the pub garden for lunch - although I did complain that we had to wait over an hour before the food arrived!
