This was our 6th visit. We also visited on...
A Tuesday night run from the Station Public house carpark in Caton. Well attended, we set off along the main road in the direction of Hornby and climbed the stile on the right hand side, following Artlebeck to the bridge and onwards to Broadacre.
A surprise right turn took us along Quernmore Road and brought us eventually to an awkward scramble onto the cyclepath. There was the usual kerfuffle among the wimps while they tried to decide who was the only wimp in the village. A left turn inevitably brought the pack to the Crook of Lune where wimps ran the left bank and rambos the right path to the pipe bridge. The cyclepath was regained and returned us to Caton - perfect timing to adjourn to the Black Bull to get our brains in gear for the quiz - can't remember if we won!
[Apparently the scribe tried to get this on the website ages ago - but the computer said no - just call him Bubbles - everybody does!]
