A lovely sunny day welcomed around 15 hashers (five runners). The brief featured a bewildering description of “dead trees, tracks up hill and through the long grass..” but all became clear on the hash itself. The scenic trail was a great circuit from Low Bentham, NW, N, then NE to edge of Burton-in- Lonsdale, then SW to Bentham and then On Inn via Low Bentham. The adventure featured goats, donkeys, caravan sites, lakes, great views and winding trails.

There was a welcome beer stop (just after a farmer had mown the field and wiped all the marks away). There was a field of very inquisitive and frisky cows which made for an interesting time navigating past the herd especially with No More Cum waving his T-Shirt at the cows.

There was a fair wait for the walkers to return, which delayed the down downs, and so they in turn had to be cut short for us to get to the Punch Bowl for the tasty food. 

An exhilarating hash overall!
